HEALTH CABINET MINISTRY: Flu & Pneumonia Shots: The shots will be offered on Sunday, November 21 from 8 am – 2 pm (or until supply lasts-first come-first served) in the school auditorium. The amount is limited due to the national shortage of vaccine. It will be only offered to persons 65 years or older; persons with chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure or asthma; pregnant women and/or babies 6-23 months, and health care workers. No exemptions! There will be a cost of $10.00 (cash only).

Social Services Office: We are taking names for the Christmas Baskets and Toy Program. If you want to make a donation or to enroll your children for this program, please call the Social Services office ( 323) 871-8042.
The cold weather is here already and we are in need of blankets. We will appreciate any donation of blankets. Please help us to help the needy in our community.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Next Friday, November 5 is the 1st Friday of the month. Therefore, we will have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 8:30 am until 9:30am ending with a general Benediction.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1: is a feast of encouragement and challenge when we rejoice with the throng of Saints (Rev. 7) who have reached that supreme fulfillment and are a loving example to us. THIS YEAR ALL SAINTS DAY IS NOT A SPECIAL CHURCH HOLY DAY. We will have our regular schedule of Masses at 8:00 am and 12 noon both in English.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2: is a day when we especially remember our departed family and friends. As it is our custom, our parish will offer a first intention Mass each day during the month of November at 12:05 for all whose names are in the high altar. Ddonation envelopes are placed in the pews for your “special contributions.” Schedule of Masses for Nov. 2: 8:00am & 12 noon Masses in English. 7:30pm Mass in Spanish.

REMEMBRANCE BOOK: Our parish “Remembrance Book,” for the names of our beloved deceased, will be available near the main altar. Please come and write the names of your deceased family and friends in the book. We shall pray for them at all our Masses during November

CURSO BASICO DE LAS SAGRADAS ESCRITURAS (ANTIGUO TESTAMENTO): A partir del Viernes 5 de Noviembre y de alli en adelante todos los Viernes, se iniciara un curso basico del Antiguo Testamento en el Salon San Ignacio de 7 a 9:30pm. NOTICIAS DEL GABINETE DE SALUD: Vacunas Contra la Gripe y la Pulmonia: Las vacunas estaran disponibles el Domingo 21 de Noviembre de 8 am-2 pm (o hasta que se terminen-a los primeros que vengan se les atendera primero) en el auditorio de la escuela. La cantidad es limitada debido a la escasez nacional de vacunas. Solamente se ofreceran vacunas a personas de 65 anos o mas de edad; personas con enfermedades cronicas como diabetes, alta presion o asma; mujeres embarazadas; bebes de 6 a 23 meses y personas que trabajen cuidando enfermos. No habra excepciones! El costo es de $10.00 (efectivo solamente).
