WORLD AIDS DAY - WEDNESDAY, DEC. 1: We will remember all those who have died of AIDS and whose lives are affected by HIV/AIDS at our two daily Masses on Wednesday, December 1.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Next Friday, December 3, is the First Friday of the month. Therefore, we will have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 8:30am until 9:30am ending with a general Benediction.

JESUIT SEMINARY CHRISTMAS CARDS: are available in the parish office.

POINSETTIA OFFERING - A GIFT OF LOVE: Give a Poinsettia to the church to be placed at the altar at Christmastime. This Poinsettia can be given to honor a memory, as a “Thank you”, for a special friendship or simply to say “Merry Christmas.” Please bring Poinsettias to the rectory office December 20, 21, 22, 23, 24. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

PARISH CENTER NEWS: Our Toy program is on the way, we have placed in a Christmas Tree tags with the names of children if you want to give a present to one of the children of our parish choose a card, keep the front part, and deposit the last part with your name and your telephone number in the box next to the tree. There will be a volunteer to assist you with this process on Sundays, but during the week just deposit the card in the box. We appreciate your generosity and I am sure you will be making a child very happy this Christmas. The gift should be no less than $10.00 and the last day to bring them to the Rectory will be December the 13th. We will be distribute the toys at a party on the 18th of December 2004, if for any reason the child can not come to the party, we will be opened the 21st and 22nd of December for pick ups.
– We would like to thank St. Brendan Church our Sister Parish for putting together a party for the Children at Blessed Sacrament on December 18, 2004. They will also provide toys for the kids whose names are not placed in the tree.

CHRISTMAS TREES TO DECORATE THE CHURCH: We are accepting donations to help defray the cost of the Christmas trees used for decoration during Christmastime. Please place your donation in the “Flower envelopes” provided in the back of the pews. Put it in the collection basket with your regular weekly donation or bring it to the rectory office.

GUADALUPANA CELEBRATIONS
– Sunday, December 5 - “Auction” of famous singers/actors’ and actresses’ clothing: This auction will take place in the school auditorium from 10:00am until 3:00pm. Profit of this auction will help to defray the cost of the celebrations on December 12.
– Sunday, December 12 - (Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe) we will have the following program here at the church: 5:00 am - Las Mananitas; 7:00 pm -Spanish Mass. During this Mass we will have a “Parade of all Nations” so that parishioners from different countries will have their flag displayed. For more information about these celebrations, please call Salud Rubalcaba at (818) 501-8775. Guadalupana celebration will continue outside the church with joyful singing and enjoying champurrado, hot chocolate and sweet bread.

LOYOLA INSTITUTE OF SPIRITUALITY: DECEMBER 4 & 5 AT ALL ENGLISH MASSES: Fr. Dave Schwartz from the Loyola Institute of Spirituality will be presiding at all English Masses on Dec. 4th & 5th, and inviting to a conference he will present on Tuesday, Dec. 7. You are cordially invited to continue participating on these conferences while enriching yourselves with these teachings and experiences. This conferences are open to ALL!!!

PARISH POSADAS & SIMBANG GABI CELEBRATION: We invite all Blessed Sacrament congregation to celebrate with us the “PARISH POSADA & SIMBANG GABI” on Sunday, December 19th at 5:30pm. An inter-cultural procession will take place before the Liturgy with reception to follow in the school auditorium. All parishioners, family and friends are welcome!

PARISH RECONCILIATION SERVICE (BILINGUAl): On Monday evening, December 6, at 7:00pm we will celebrate our Advent Parish Reconciliation Service. This is a ceremony where we remember God’s forgiveness and offer the parish an opportunity to go to the Sacrament of Confession. The service will be Bi-lingual and we will have priests to hear confessions in Spanish and English. Make plans to attend this evening as part of your Advent preparation for the nativity of Jesus Christ.

SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: The annual Christmas program presented by Blessed Sacrament School children will be on Thursday, December 9th at 6:30pm in the church. All parishioners and friends are cordially invited to attend.

WORLD AIDS DAY: El DIa 11ero de Diciembre esta dedicado para recordar a las personas que han fallecido de Sida y a quienes estan actualmente sufriendo del Sindrome de Insuficiencia Imunologica. Todas estas personas seran recordadas en nuestros servicios del Miercoles 1ero de Diciembre durante las Misas del dia.

EXPOSICION DEL SANTISIMO SACRAMENTO: El proximo Viernes 3 de Diciembre es el 1er. Viernes del mes. Por lo tanto, tendremos Exposicion del Santisimo Sacramento a partir de las 8:30am hasta las 9:30am y acabara con una Bendicion general.

SERVICIO DE RECONCILIACION EN COMUNIDAD: El Lunes o de Diciembre a las 7:00pm tendremos nuestro Servicio de Reconciliacion de Adviento. Esta es una ceremonia donde recordamos el perdon de Dios y ofrecemos a todos los feligreses la oportunidad de confesarse. El servicio sera bilingue y tendremos sacerdotes escuchando confesiones en Espanol e Ingles. Por favor hagan planes con tiempo para poder asistir a este servicio como parte de nuestra preparacion de Adviento para la Navidad.

PROGRAMA DE NAVIDAD DE LA ESCUELA: El Jueves 9 de Diciembre a las 6:30pm en la Iglesia la Escuela Blessed Sacrament presentara su programa de Navidad. Invitamos a todos los padres de familia, familiares, amigos y a los parroquianos en general a que nos acompanen en esta celebracion.

COORDINADORES VENTAS DE LOS DOMINGOS LA PROXIMA SEMANA: Sociedad Guadalupana & Cristo Negro de Esquipulas (cafe & donuts)

LA POSADA PARROQUIAL & CELEBRACION DE SIMBANG GABI: El Domingo 19 de Dic a las 5:30pm celebraremos la “Posada Parroquial y Simbang Gabi”. Invitamos a toda la congregacion a que se una a nosotros en esta celebracion. Habra una procesion inter-cultural antes de la Liturgia y despues una recepcion en el auditorio. Todos estan invitados!!!

CELEBRACION DE NUESTRA SENORA DE GUADALUPE:
– Domingo 5 de Diciembre: El Ministerio de La Guadalupa realizara una subasta de ropa de artistas famosos el Domingo 5 de Diciembre en el auditorio de la escuela de 10am a 3pm con el motivo de recaudar fondos para las celebraciones en el Dia de la Virgen de Guadalupe. Necesitamos ayuda con la preparacion de la celebracion y les pedimos ayudarnos a repartir volantes.
– Domingo 12 de Dic - 5:00 am Las Mananitas; 7:00 pm - Misa. Tambien como parte de la celebracion en la Misa de las 7:00pm el dia 12 de Diciembre tendremos un “Desfile de las Naciones”, con el fin de que sean representadas todas las naciones de los feligreses de nuestra parroquia. Para inscribirse en este desfile, por favor llamar a Salud Rubalcava al telf: (818) 501-8775. Continuaremos la celebracion fuera de la Iglesia con alegres canciones, chocolate caliente y pan dulce.

NOTICIAS DEL CENTRO PASTORAL: Nuestro Programa de Juguetes de Navidad esta ya en camino. Hemos colocado en un Arbol de Navidad tarjetas con los nombres de algunos ninos, si Ud. desea dar un regalo a un nino de nuestra Parroquia seleccione su tarjeta, puede quedarse con la tarjeta que tiene la informacion del nino y deposite la otra parte de la tarjeta en la caja que esta cerca de el Arbol con su nombre y su telefono.
Durante los Domingos habra personas que le asistiran en este proceso, pero durante de la semana por favor deposite la tarjeta en la caja. Le agradecemos su generosidad y le aseguro que eso hara a un nino muy feliz esta Navidad. El regalo tiene que ser no menos de $10.00 y el ultimo dia para entregar su regalo en la Rectoria es el dia 13 de Diciembre. Estaremos entregando los regalos en una fiesta de Navidad el dia 18 de Diciembre y para los ninos que por cualquier motivo no puedan venir ese día estaremos abiertos el dia 21 y 22 para entregarles sus regalos.
Queremos agradecer a la Iglesia de St. Brendan, nuestra Parroquia hermana por organizar esta fiesta el 18 de Diciembre para todos los ninos de Blessed Sacrament. Tambien nos ayudaran con juguetes para los niños cuyos nombres no se coloquen en el arbol Navideno.

OFRENDAS DE POINSETTIAS (FLOR DE NOCHE BUENA): Agradeceremos sus donaciones de Ponsiettias para adornar nuestra Iglesia durante la Navidad. Pueden traerlas a la rectoria del 20 al 24 de Diciembre.

MISALES A LA VENTA: Misales para el 2005 ya estan a la venta en la oficina de la rectoria al precio de $4.00 cada uno.

DONACION PRO ARBOLITOS DE NAVIDAD: Estamos aceptando donaciones para la compra de los arbolitos de Navidad que adornaran nuestra Iglesia. Detras de las bancas encontraran los sobres especiales para esta donacion. Gracias!
