PARISH CENTER NEWS: “My experience at Blessed Sacrament …continuation”
“The volunteers and staff at Blessed Sacrament truly made my experience all the more worthwhile. Blessed Sacrament encompasses service to the community rooted in the same Jesuit ideals of Loyola High School. Working at Blessed Sacrament for my senior community service project has truly been one of my most memorable experience. Although I had the option to work at schools in the Los Angeles area, I chose to work with the unfortunate members of our society. I knew this would test my comfort level. My decision to spend the final week of my project living at the social center was perhaps the most influential. By living away from my home for a week and traveling to the various social services agencies in the area, I gained a greater awareness of what I can do to make a difference in the community.”
– by John Vossler, ‘05, Loyola High School

– John Vossler, Secundaria Loyola H.S.
