The best word that I can think of to characterize our Holy Week services is “Magnificent.” Thank you to all who helped make the celebrations, beautiful, spiritual, and deeply moving. From the people who cleaned the church, to the musicians who moved our souls, to the committee who decorated the church and coordinated the experience - You all made the Lord present this Holy Week.
All of us in the parish are grateful. Thank you.

L.A. VOICE: L.A. Voice is holding a Tenants’ Rights Forum on Thursday, April 27th at 7:00pm in the school auditorium.

USHERS: This ministry will hold a meeting on Saturday, April 29th in the rectory patio from 11am until 2pm. All current USHERS are encouraged to participate in this meeting, important information will be given. Any other person willing to belong to this ministry is welcomed to attend this meeting and get informed.

The Ministry with Lesbian and Gay Catholics Will be celebrating 20 years of ministry with a Special Multi-lingual Mass on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 6:00pm, at Blessed Sacrament Church, 6657 Sunset Blvd, hollywood, CA. Lumen Christi Awards will be presented to 8 persons in recognition For their significant contribution to this ministry.

SOCIAL SERVICES: Lately we heard all over about the issue of undocumented Immigrants and this is associated only to the Hispanic population but in reality this is just a myth because there are undocumented immigrants from all over the world living all over USA territory. La mejor palabra que puedo usar para definir nuestros Servicios de Semana Santa es “Magníficos.” Gracias a todos quienes colaboraron para hacer de estas celebraciones, bellas, espirituales y profundas. Desde las personas que limpiaron la Iglesia, a los músicos que removieron nuestras almas, al comité que decoró y estuvo a cargo de la coordinación - Ustedes nos hicieron sentir la presencia del Señor esta Semana Santa. Todos nosotros aquí en la parroquia estamos muy agradecidos. Gracias.

SERVICIOS SOCIALES: Ultimamente escuchamos por todos lados el tema de los Inmigrantes Indocumentados y este tema se asocia unicamente a la población Hispana pero realmente ésto sólo es un mito porque encontramos Inmigrantes indocumentados provenientes de todos los continentes del mundo residiendo en territorio Estadounidense. UNA JORNADA DE ESPERANZA: Desde su fundación, los Estados Unidos ha recibido inmigrantes de alrededor del mundo quienes han encontrado oportunidades y un lugar seguro en una tierra nueva. El trabajo, los valores y las creencias de los inmigrantes de todo el mundo han transformado a los Estados Unidos de un grupo de colonias sueltas, en una de las democracias líderes en el mundo actual. Desde su fundación hasta el presente, los Estados Unidos sigue siendo una nación de inmigrantes cimentada en la firme creencia de que las personas que llegan ofrecen nueva energía, esperanza y diversidad cultural.

El Ministerio Católico con Lesbianas y Gays celebrará sus 20 años en ministerio con Una Misa Multi-Lingue el Sábado 6 de Mayo-a las 6:00pm, Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento, 6657 Sunset Blvd, Hollywood, CA. Premios Lumen Christi serán otorgados a 8 personas en reconocimiento a su significativa contribución a este ministerio.
