OFFERTORY INCREASE PROGRAM 2006 FOLLOW-UP SUNDAY: This weekend at all the Masses we will repeat the procedure for the Offertory Increase Program. Only those who were not present last Sunday, or whoever, for some reason, did not make a commitment at that time, can do it now.
We request that only one adult family member fills out the commitment card. If you have already made a commitment, you don’t need to do it again. We also would like to encourage you that when making your donations please use your checks and/or envelopes. It is very helpful to us to know how many members of our parish are actively involved in offering their financial support. Thank you for your generosity!

MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY-MONDAY, MAY 30: The rectory office will be closed tomorrow (Monday, May 29th) in observance of the Memorial Day Holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday morning as usual.

JUNE is a month of celebrations. We will be honoring St. John the Baptist, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Luis Gonzaga, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Peter & St. Paul. On Sunday, June 18th, not only will we be honoring our Fathers, but we will be celebrating the Church of the Blessed Sacrament’s very own special day: The Body and Blood of Jesus present in the Eucharist. At our parking lot you will find a new design of our fine quality smoke-free candles representing the Eucharist: The Body and Blood of Jesus.

EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: next Friday, June 2nd is the First Friday of the month. The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed from 8:30am to 9:30am. We will close the exposition with a Benediction.

L.A. VOICE: reminds those eligible to VOTE in the California primary on Tuesday, June 6. Let’s make sure our voice is heard! If you have any questions call Joe at 323) 793-1334.
– Do you have a child 18 or younger without health insurance? On Sunday, June 11, L.A. Voice is holding an enrollment fair for children without health insurance. It’s Cabaret Time! The A Cappella Choir presents a “Disney Extravaganza” Friday, June 30th at 8:00pm, and Saturday, July 1st at 1:00pm and 8:00pm. PROGRAMA ANUAL DE INCREMENTO DE OFRENDAS-2005-2006: Este fin de semana durante todas las Misas repetiremos el Programa del Compromiso de Incremento de Ofrendas. Sólo aquellos que estuvieron ausentes el Domingo pasado, o quienes por alguna razón no hicieron su compromiso en esa fecha, lo pueden hacer hoy. Les pedimos encarecidamente que sólo una persona adulta por familia llene la tarjeta del compromiso. Si Ud ya hizo su compromiso, no necesita volver a hacerlo. Por favor usen sus cheques personales y/o los sobres que les envía la parroquia para hacer sus donaciones. Esto nos ayuda a saber cuantos miembros de la parroquia están activamente envueltos en su sostenimiento financiero. Gracias de antemano por toda su atención y generosidad!

FERIADO “MEMORIAL DAY” LUNES 29 DE MAYO: La rectoría estará cerrada mañana Lunes con motivo del Feriado de Memorial Day. Reabriremos el Martes en nuestro horario de costumbre.

MINISTERIO DE LA SALUD: Los invitamos a ver una T.V. novela divertida y educativa con información nutricional para toda la familia, al mismo tiempo que disfruta de unos bocadillos. JUNIO es un mes de celebraciones. Estaremos rindiéndole honores a San Juan Bautista, San Antonio de Padua, San Luis Gonzaga, El Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, Nta. Sra. Del Perpetuo Socorro, San Pedro y San Pablo. El Domingo 18 de Junio no sólo le mostraremos nuestro cariño a nuestros Padres, pero es un día my especial de alegría para nuestra Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento. Es el día en que celebramos la Festividad del Cuerpo y Sangre de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo presente en el Santísimo Sacramento de la Comunión. En nuestro estacionamiento podrán encontrar un nuevo diseño de nuestras velas de calidad que no producen humo, representando el Pan y el Vino: El Cuerpo y la Sangre de Nuestro Señor.

EXPOSICION DEL SANTISIMO SACRAMENTO: el próximo Viernes 2 de Junio es el primer Viernes del mes. El Santísimo Sacramento estará expuesto desde las 8:30am hasta las 9:30am. Encerraremos nuestra veneración con una Bendición.

ATENCION FELIGRESES: Por favor usen los sobres que envía la Iglesia para hacer sus donaciones. Estos sobres son enviados cada dos meses. Si Ud no los recibe, puede ser que sea porque usted no está inscrito en la parroquia, y/o que los datos que tenemos no están correctos. MINISTERIO CON LESBIANAS & GAYS: tendrán una noche de oración el Viernes 2 de Junio a las 7:30pm en la Oficina de Liturgia.

ANUNCIO IMPORTANTE PARA LA COMUNIDAD: La Misa del medio día en Inglés de los Sábados será descontinuada a partir del 17 de Junio del año en curso. La Misa en Inglés de las 8:00am, y la Misa Multi-lingue de las 6:00pm de los Sábados continuarán con su horario vigente.

Concierto al Estilo Cabaret-el Coro A Capella presentará “Extravaganza Disney” el Viernes 30 de Junio a las 8:00pm; y el Sábado 1ero de Julio a la 1:00pm y 8:00pm.
