RETIREMENT FUND FOR ARCHDIOCESAN PRIESTS-ARCHDIOCESE OF LOS ANGELES SECOND COLLECTION: This is your invitation to say thank you to our current and future retired priests who have served all of us so faithfully through their priestly ministry. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles has 161 who are currently retired. Please give generously to the Retirement Fund for Archdiocesan Priests by placing your gift in the collection or submitting it by mail.

JUNE is a month of celebrations. We will be honoring St. John the Baptist, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Luis Gonzaga, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Peter & St. Paul. On Sunday, June 18th, not only will we be honoring our Fathers, but we will be celebrating the Church of the Blessed Sacrament’s very own special day: The Body and Blood of Jesus present in the Eucharist. At our parking lot you will find a new design of our fine quality smoke-free candles representing the Eucharist: The Body and Blood of Jesus.

L.A. VOICE: Do you have a child 18 or younger without health insurance? Today, L.A. Voice is holding an enrollment fair for children without health insurance in the school St. Ignatius room. All information is kept confidential. Come and visit us!

CARNIVAL:The Carnival entertainment committee will meet on Tuesday, June 13 at 7:30pm in the Parish Center.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE COMMUNITY: The Saturday 12:05pm English Mass will be discontinued effective June 17th, 2006. The 8:00am English Mass, and the 6:00pm Multi-lingual Masses on Saturdays will remain the same.

IT’S CABARET TIME! From “Beauty and the Beast” to “It’s A Small World” to “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah”, beautiful singing and dancing will be featured during the DISNEY SPECTACULAR on Friday, June 30th at 8 p.m, and Saturday, July 1st at 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. Blessed Sacrament’s own A Cappella Choir will take center stage for the Fourth Annual Cabaret Concert. This year we’ve added a matinee, especially for children on Saturday, July 1st at 1 p.m. And, if you want to have a vital part in the show and add to your résumé, try out for stagehand, ticket taker, silent auction attendant or lighting and sound assistants. EL FONDO DE JUBILACIÓN PARA LOS SACERDOTES DE LA ARQUIDIÓCESIS DE LOS ANGELES: Esta es una invitación para expresar su agradecimiento a los actuales y futuros sacerdotes jubilados que nos han servido a todos tan devotamente a través de su ministerio sacerdotal. El Domingo 18 de Junio no sólo le mostraremos nuestro cariño a nuestros Padres, pero es un día my especial de alegría para nuestra Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento. Es el día en que celebramos la Festividad del Cuerpo y Sangre de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo presente en el Santísimo Sacramento de la
Comunión. En nuestro estacionamiento podrán encontrar un nuevo diseño de nuestras velas de calidad que no producen humo, representando el Pan y el Vino: El Cuerpo y la Sangre de Nuestro Señor.

Sobres especiales para su donación en el Día de los Padres: Los encontrarán detrás de las bancas o en la oficina de la rectoría, para en ellos rendir tributo a sus Padres (vivos y/o fallecidos). El Domingo 19 de Junio estos sobres se colocarán en el altar para una bendición especial.

ATENCION FELIGRESES: Por favor usen los sobres que envía la Iglesia para hacer sus donaciones. Estos sobres son enviados cada dos meses.
