JUNE is a month of celebrations. We will be honoring St. John the Baptist, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Luis Gonzaga, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Peter & St. Paul. On Sunday, June 18th, not only will we be honoring our Fathers, but we will be celebrating the Church of the Blessed Sacrament’s very own special day: The Body and Blood of Jesus present in the Eucharist. At our parking lot you will find a new design of our fine quality smoke-free candles representing the Eucharist: The Body and Blood of Jesus.

COMMUNITY NEWS
– First National Asian and Pacific Convocation in Washington D.C. will be held on June 30-July 3, 2006. Event is organized by the National Asian and Pacific Organization (NAPCO) in collaboration with: Migration Refugee Services, Office for Pastoral Care of Migrants and Refugees, U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. L.A. VOICE: Reminds those eligible to VOTE in the California primary this Tuesday, June 6th. Let’s make sure our voice is heard! If you have any questions call Joe at (323) 793-1334.

HEALTH INSURANCE: Do you have a child 18 or younger without health insurance? On Sunday, June 11, L.A. Voice is holding an enrollment fair for children without health insurance. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE COMMUNITY:
– The Saturday 12:05pm English Mass will be discontinued effective June 17th, 2006.
– The 8:00am English Mass, and the 6:00pm Multi-lingual Masses on Saturdays will remain the same.

ATTENTION PARISHIONERS: On Sunday, June 18th, there will be NO 11am Mass. We will combine the English 11am Mass and Spanish 1:00pm Mass in a 12:00 noon Multi-Lingual Service celebrating our Parish Titular Feast “The Body & Blood of Christ.” You are all welcomed to attend and participate in this special celebration. A reception will follow up in the school auditorium.

IT’S CABARET TIME!
From “Beauty and the Beast” to “It’s A Small World” to “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah”, beautiful singing and dancing will be featured during the DISNEY SPECTACULAR on Friday, June 30th at 8 p.m, and Saturday, July 1st at 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. Blessed Sacrament’s own A Cappella Choir will take center stage for the Fourth Annual Cabaret Concert. This year we’ve added a matinee, especially for children on Saturday, July 1st at 1 p.m. And, if you want to have a vital part in the show and add to your résumé, try out for stagehand, ticket taker, silent auction attendant or lighting and sound assistants. JUNIO es un mes de celebraciones. Estaremos rindiéndole honores a San Juan Bautista, San Antonio de Padua, San Luis Gonzaga, El Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, Nta. Sra. Del Perpetuo Socorro, San Pedro y San Pablo. El Domingo 18 de Junio no sólo le mostraremos nuestro cariño a nuestros Padres, pero es un día my especial de alegría para nuestra Iglesia del Santísimo Sacramento. Es el día en que celebramos la Festividad del Cuerpo y Sangre de Nuestro Señor Jesucristo presente en el Santísimo Sacramento de la Comunión. En nuestro estacionamiento podrán encontrar un nuevo diseño de nuestras velas de calidad que no producen humo, representando el Pan y el Vino: El Cuerpo y la Sangre de Nuestro Señor.

– La Misa en Inglés de las 8:00am, y la Misa Multi-lingue de las 6:00pm de los Sábados continuarán con su horario vigente.

ATENCION FELIGRESES: El Domingo 18 de Junio NO tendremos Misa a la 1 de la tarde. Combinaremos la Misa en Inglés de las 11 de la mañana y la Misa en Español de la 1 de la tarde en un Servicio Multi-Lingue a las 12 del medio día con motivo de la celebración de nuestra Fiesta Parroquial-”El Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo.” Todos están invitados a asistir y participar en esta celebración tan especial. CONCIERTO AL ESTILO CABARET
Tendremos bailes y cantos de “La Bella y la Bestia”, “Es un Mundo Pequeño”, “Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah” en nuestro Concierto Disney Espectacular el Viernes 30 de Junio a las 8pm, el Sábado tendremos un horario de Matineé a la 1pm especialmente para niños, y otro espectáculo a las 8pm. Si desea ayudar como
