Our first Youth Ministry Car Wash is happening this coming Sunday, 8/5/07 from 7am to 3pm!

In order to prepare ourselves and the materials we will need that day, we will be meeting this Wednesday, August 1st, 2007 in the CCD Office at 7pm.

Bring your great ideas for posters and ticket sales! We will also be coordinating the different shifts so we can all participate without getting exhausted : ) !!

This Car Wash cannot succeed without all of your support and energy : ). Thank you for taking part of this event.

Hello everyone,

The Youth Ministry will be getting together tomorrow at 1:30pm in the auditorium to discuss the events we want to carry out in the coming months. Right now, our group is sharing ideas of events that focus on spirituality, service, and fun.

We are also welcoming new members that are interested in joining us and helping us in our Ministry.

The Youth Ministry members will be getting together tomorrow at 1:30pm in the school auditorium to discuss our ongoing projects and to begin developing our plans for the coming year.

As always your input, from current members and new members, is always welcomed, encouraged, and appreciated.

Again, the meeting will be tomorrow, 6/23/07 and will start promptly at 1:30pm in the auditorium. Plan to be there a couple of hours. I guarantee that time flies when you’re there!

Hello everyone,

Tomorrow’s meeting has been postponed. Please excuse any inconvenience this may have caused.

Our next meeting will be held on 6/23/07 from 1:30pm to 3:30pm to continue working on helping our friends at L.A. Voice. If you would like to help us send letters to Mayor Villarraigosa to ask him to come to our town hall meeting on 7/16/07, or would like to make a commitment to join us at the meeting, please contact me at (323) 552-3605.

No news yet on the bonfire. I will keep you posted.

Thank you everyone who came last Sunday to represent our Ministry in the Corpus Cristi celebration and Ministry Fair. You make all the difference in the world!

As of today, the group has completed the design for the new Youth Ministry banner. Look for it during the Corpus Christi celebration at Blessed Sacrament on June 10th. Thank you everyone who contributed their time and ideas.

Our first Food Sale will take place on June 3, 2007 from 8:00am to 3:00pm. We still need a lot of volunteers so feel free to contact me if you want to help. Confirmation students and Confirmandi, this is an opportunity for you to do some of your volunteer hours

Fun summer events are in the works so come back for updates in the next few days!

Our next meeting will take place Sunday, May 27, 2007 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
