CHRISTMAS GIFTS SUGGESTIONS
Shopping for Christmas gifts offers a wonderful opportunity to consider giving something that might have a deep impact upon the life of another. There are several good books on Ignatian prayer that might be worth buying for a family member or very close friend who is searching for “something more” in their spiritual life. Here are a few suggestions:
Au, Wilkie. The Enduring Heart: Spirituality for the Long Haul. New York: Paulist Press, 2000.
Kennedy, Michael. Eyes on Jesus: A Guide for Contemplation. New York: Crossroads Publishing Company, 1999.
Kennedy, Michael. Eyes on the Cross: A Guide for Contemplation. New York: Crossroads Publishing Company, 2001.
Silf, Margaret. Inner Compass: An Invitation to Ignatian Spirituality. Chicago, Illinois: Loyola Press, 1999.
Smith, Carol Ann and Eugene F. Merz. Moment by Moment. Notre Dame, Indiana: Ave Maria Press, 2000.
IGNATIAN SPIRITUALITY OPPORTUNITIES
