SISTER OF NOTRE DAME KILLED IN BRAZIL
Sr. Dorothy Stang, SND, an advocate for rural peasants, land reform and environmental protections, was killed in Brazil. Her murder appears to be politically motivated.

This year marks the 200 anniversary year of the birth of St. Terese Couderc, founder of the Sisters of the Cenacle.
