JESUITS AND MUSIC: MUSICAL GENRES AND JESUIT MISSION
The Loyola Marymount University Annual Casassa Lecture will feature Fr. T. Frank Kennedy, SJ, Canisius Professor at Boston College and Chair of the Music Department at the same Jesuit University. His presentation will highlight the music of the Latin American Jesuit missions during their early colonial period which was the topic of his internationally acclaimed Darcy Lectures given at Oxford University in 2005.
The event is open to the public free of charge.
