JESUIT RETREAT CENTER IN TIJUANA
By Fr. Wayne Negrete, S.J. on 11-05-2007 | Ignatian |
A few blogs ago I posted information regarding Ignatian retreats that were scheduled at various retreat centers in Northern and Southern California. It did not even occur to me at the time that the Jesuit retreat center in Tijuana might be a consideration for my readers.
Since I posted a few spiritual events that are taking place at the University of San Diego and have received positive feedback for doing so, I realize that you, my readers, might be willing to travel across our southern border to Tijuana for Ignatian retreats and events.
So, in this blog I give you some basic information about what the Jesuits in Baja California provide in Ignatian Spirituality. I hope to include such programs in future blog postings.
CASA MANRESA, UNIVERSIDAD IBEROAMERICANA, TIJUANA
The Universidad Iberoamericana Tijuana, is a university of the {{link http://www.sjmex.org Jesuit Province of Mexico}}. The UIA Tijuana has established a retreat house on its property, Casa Manresa. They offer accommodations for day and overnight retreats as well as for individual or group retreats. They also offer the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
