IGNATIAN VOLUNTEER CORPS
The Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) is looking for a few good men and women to serve local people in need. Your lifetime of experience and talent can be turned into service for others. Ignatian Volunteers tutor, advance literacy skills, help find jobs and housing, provide healthcare and companionship, help with administrative tasks, fund raise, distribute food, serve in detention ministry, and generally assist agencies, schools and parishes in their work.
The Ignatian Volunteer Corps is a Catholic service organization under the auspices of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). Volunteers serve one or two days per week. A guided process of reflection helps IVC volunteers discover deeper meaning of the work they do as they gather monthly to pray and share work experiences.
